БУДІВНИЦТВО БУДИНКІВ ІЗ ОЦИЛІНДРОВАНОГО БРУСУ – ДОВЕРШЕНІСТЬ ФОРМ У КОЖНІЙ ДЕТАЛІ

The use of wood as the main material for construction dates back to ancient times. Even hundreds of years ago, it was known about the thermal insulation qualities and reliability of wooden houses. Time passed, technical progress did not stand still, and the traditional house was replaced by its improved version – a house made of cylindrical timber.

Cylindrical timber and its production

This type of timber is produced by mechanical processing on a rolling mill, removing the top layer of wood. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to calibrate the finished material by choosing the desired diameter. After processing on the machine, the workpiece has a perfectly even appearance, a smooth surface, which significantly improves the density between the beams during construction. The diametrical size of the finished beam is from 20 cm and above.

High-quality wood is the basis for the construction of wooden houses

Only by taking the best lumber, you can build really high-quality housing. The Khata-Zrub company uses only high-mountain wood from the Carpathians. Having a number of our own logging and woodworking enterprises with high-precision equipment, quality is controlled throughout the process. To make the wood even stronger, it is harvested only on frosty days (November/December), when the structure is at its maximum density, and the risk of damage to the tree by pests/mold/fungus is completely insignificant. The Khata-Zrub company uses the following species for the construction of wooden houses:

  • fir (not often);
  • Scots pine;
  • spruce (fir);
  • larch

Structural features of construction from cylindrical timber and its advantages

In addition to an attractive appearance, houses made of cylindrical timber have a number of undeniable advantages.

  • Ease of construction. Since wooden houses are light in weight compared to other structures, lightened variations (screw, columnar, less often shallow strip) are sufficient for arranging the foundation. Also, thanks to the light material, there is no need to involve heavy special equipment. This feature significantly reduces the price and significantly speeds up the construction of a wooden house.
  • Does not require finishing works. The natural texture of the wood and the shape of the bar have a completely perfect look. Both interior and exterior finishing works are completely unnecessary. It is enough just to choose the desired color for tinting/varnishing and cover the tree.
